The history of the inn dates back to the year 2000 when the owners of the property - Maria and Roman Rzadkosz - decided to take out a loan to open their first business. Even then, they noticed that it was at least strange for such a tourist-attractive place as Biały Dunajecto lack a proper gastronomic establishment.
After leasing the land from the Municipal Office, creating a project, and obtaining all the necessary approvals, construction work began. The building was constructed using traditional methods and carpentry materials from the Podhale region -from spruce logs, with natural moss, and a roof made according to the old custom using wooden boards.
The establishment was opened for use in 2001.
Since the beginning of our operations, we strive to listen to the voices of our Guests, adapting our offer to the constantly changing needs.
Trout from Polaniorkacomes from our own breedingrun by the owners for years.
For the first timeit gained recognition in 2002 at a culinary competitionheld during the "Trout Day" in Biały Dunajec. It has been awarded again in subsequent years and still represents the flagship dish of Polaniorka alongside many other regional and traditional Polish dishes.
The greatest distinction so far is the title"Tatra Brand 2022"for the dish "Dunajec Trout Tartare.
